The Mesa Library's more than 100,000 books are listed in the Library Catalog.  In addition to the print books, the catalog also includes:

• Videos, CDs, and other multimedia materials

• Course reserves

• Materials available at City and Miramar Colleges (Mesa students can check out materials from those librarie with a student ID, or you can request to have books from those libraries sent to Mesa by filling out a form at the Mesa Referenc Desk on floor 1.)

The Mesa Library has several series of books on controversial issues listed in the library catalog.  These are often useful for projects or speeches meant to argue a point of view or persuade.  Browsing through these titles can also be a good strategy for selecting a topic.
