Citing your sources is an important part of the research process and it is essential that you credit those whose work you consult in the course of your research.
Different disciplines use different citing styles. Your professor will let you know which guidelines to use.
The most common guidelines are:
NoodleBib is an online tool that helps you correctly cite sources in MLA, APA, and Chicago Turabian citation styles.
You can set up an account through the Mesa Library and use NoodleBib to create properly formatted works cited and reference lists and in-text citations in a citation style (MLA, APA, Chicago, Turabian) and organize your research notes online.
