You can start your own search using some of the databases below

  • Ethnic Diversity Source - This full-text database is a dedicated resource covering the culture, traditions, social treatment and lived experiences of different ethnic groups in America
  • Ethnic News Watch - Database of articles published by ethnic and minority presses.
  • Gale OneFile: Diversity Studies - Explores cultural differences, contributions and influences in the global community.

Spotlight on Individuals

In the orange tabs on the left, you will find information about individuals from the black community that propelled various areas of exercise science forward.

If you are interested in having additional individuals added please contact  Librarian, Alison Gurganus at agurganus@sdccd.edu.

We'd love to add your contribution!
